Our Community Partners

FSCS El Centro collaborates with local school districts and community organizations to support high-needs schools in Lake County, transforming them into vibrant hubs of education and community engagement. With partners ranging from higher education institutions to community-based organizations, we provide resources and opportunities that empower students and families.

Community Partners

(Non-LEA)

Our Community Partners bring a wealth of resources and expertise, making a lasting impact on both districts. Our collaborators include four higher learning institutions – Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Northeastern Illinois University, and the College of Lake County – and eight community-based organizations. These include the Lake County Regional Office of Education, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center, Boys and Girls Club, Together for Childhood Network, YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago (Lake County), Lake County Health Department, Local Learning, and North Chicago Community Partners. Together, we’re transforming these schools into vibrant hubs of community engagement, where educational and social resources empower students and their families
