Undergraduate Information
Admission Requirements

Odds are that you’ve already earned some college credit before coming to the University Center. Good thing, because University Center offers bachelor’s completion degrees. In most cases, only junior and senior level courses are offered. We rely on students’ earlier college experiences to supply those freshman/sophomore level courses. Our partner, the College of Lake County, can provide coursework to students who have never attended college or who still need freshman/sophomore level courses.
Admission to teacher certification programs requires first passing the Illinois Test of Academic Proficiency (formerly the Illinois Test of Basic Skills). The College of Lake County offers test preparation courses covering both the math and the grammar portions of the test. For more information and a schedule, call them at 847/543-2022.
Transfer Agreements
Most of our bachelor’s completion programs have transfer agreements with the College of Lake County that outline how CLC courses fulfill requirements for that program. Click below on the name of the degree program to see its CLC transfer agreement.
If your prior college coursework was taken elsewhere, our Pre-Admission Advisor can tell you how to get that credit evaluated.
