Financial Benefits
The University Center of Lake County offers external financial assistance to students on the basis of demonstrated need. Each Partner University also offers its own scholarships that can be applied for to help you go higher.
The University Center of Lake County offers select majors from a wide range of accredited colleges and universities across Illinois. Students can complete their bachelor’s degree or earn an advanced degree without having to travel far from home.

Why University Center?
"Distance and convenient to do my program close to home... Been able to take classes at CLC that were requirements for my undergraduate program. Since I was paying out of pocket I saved money by taking two classes at CLC and transferring credits toward my degree. I was working at the time while doing my program so the University Center worked perfectly for me because of their night classes and programs to accommodate working students."
What advice would you give to current students?
"Do your homework and look into the programs University Center has to offer. Ask questions to an advisor about financial aid, scholarships, and benefits of enrolling at University Center."
